Delicate and tea-like. Red Bourbon from a thousand hills, washed with care, with orange and black tea in the cup.
Rwandan coffee is nearly all Red Bourbon grown by smallholders and processed at washing stations, many of them co-operatives that rebuilt the industry after 1994. The cup is cleaner and gentler than Kenya, more delicate than Ethiopia. Brew it as filter and do not roast it dark; it has nowhere to hide.
