Coffee shelves that aren't rented.
Most online coffee shelves are rented. The roaster pays to be there, pays again per sale, and still has to send stock to a warehouse that sits on it for weeks. Replenish is the opposite: free to list, 5% per order, and the coffee goes from the roaster's hands to yours.
For coffee drinkers
- 1
Find a roaster
Search by town, style or name, or wander the map. Every UK roaster we could find is listed, claimed or not.
- 2
Fill one basket
Mix coffees from different roasters. Each roaster's delivery charge is shown separately so there are no surprises.
- 3
Pay the roaster
Apple Pay, Google Pay or card. Each roaster takes its own payment, so your money goes to them, not to us.
- 4
The roastery posts it
Your order goes to the roaster the moment you pay. They roast, bag and post it. We never touch a bean.
For roasters
- 1
Claim your listing
Find your roastery on the map and claim it with your work email. An address on your own domain verifies instantly.
- 2
Connect your shop
Install the Replenish app on Shopify and pick one collection to be your shelf. Up to 20 coffees, kept in sync. Nothing to re-type.
- 3
Connect payments
Stripe onboarding, hosted by Stripe. Money from Replenish orders lands in your bank on Stripe's usual schedule.
- 4
Post the orders
Each order lands in your Shopify as a paid order tagged Replenish. Pack it and post it exactly as you do everything else.
The fee, in one line
A £30 order pays the roaster £28.50, less Stripe’s card fee. The £1.50 covers Replenish, and 30p of it goes to the charity the roaster chose. Compare that with the 15% to 40% other marketplaces take before the beans leave the roastery. No monthly charge, no listing fee, no minimum.
Questions
- Does it cost anything to be listed?
- No. Listing is free, claiming is free, the dashboard is free. We take 5% of each sale that comes through Replenish, and Stripe charges its usual card fee (1.5% + 20p for UK cards) on top. If nothing sells, you pay nothing. No monthly fee, no payout fee.
- Where does the 1% go?
- One fifth of our 5% goes to a charity the roaster chooses from a short list when they set up. It shows on their page and on your order confirmation. We pay it out quarterly and publish the totals.
- Who is the seller?
- The roaster. They set prices, charge VAT if registered, handle refunds and post the coffee. Replenish is the shop window and the till.
- I'm not on Shopify.
- At launch we sync with Shopify. If you use WooCommerce or Squarespace, claim your listing anyway so people can find you, and mark yourself as manual; a manual shelf is on the way.
- Which products appear?
- Only the ones in the collection you choose, up to 20. Keep merch and gift cards out of it, or hide any coffee from the dashboard.
- My roastery is not on the map.
- Tell us and we will add it. Or claim it straight away and it appears as soon as you connect payments and your shop.
- What if a coffee sells out between order and dispatch?
- Stock syncs from Shopify, so this is rare. If it happens you refund that line from your Stripe dashboard and email the customer.
- Can I pay with Apple Pay?
- Yes. Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link and cards are all at checkout.
- Is Vendum Coffee involved?
- Replenish is built by the founder of Vendum, a small roastery in Plumstead. Vendum is listed like any other roaster and gets no special placement.
